SealMaxx’s penetrating wood formula protects wood from moisture, acids, time and weather, while hardening, and strengthening new or existing wood.
Our treatment leaves the wood natural—not slippery or glossy protects the lumber internally, not from the surface. If “Low-Maintenance” is your goal, SealMaxx’s penetrating sealant is your best choice!
Before we begin, we carefuly protect the work area. Siding, windows and doors are masked off. Tarps are used when needed to protect area greenery.

Our SealMaxx trailers are equipped with 300’ foot hoses, so we don’t need to bring any heavy equipment to the work area; and diesel burners, allowing us to clean with hot water when necessary. These custom built machines are one example of SealMaxx commitment to being the best in our industry!
In order for our process to work effectively, we must remove all dirt, debris, mold, and mildew from the surface. If the wood has been previously treated, we also remove any stain or sealant from the wood to allow our product to penetrate.
The entire work area is sprayed with a foam based cleaning agent that loosens stains and finishes while safely removing dirt and debris from the surface.

Our orbital power washer is designed to clean horizontal surfaces evenly and efficiently, without leaving damaging knife marks caused by traditional power washing techniques.
Rails and spindles, steps, and exposed vertical posts are all cleaned thoroughly.
After the deck is cleaned and rinsed, we apply the SealMaxx sealant. Our sealants need to be applied when the wood is still saturated with water. The moisture in the wood helps to pull our sealants down into the fibers of the board, filling the voids of the wood.

The final step in our process is to enhance the color and beauty of the wood by applying the SealMaxx’s beautiful UV Protectant! Color options such as “Red Cedar”, “Walnut” and “Natural” are available to choose from. Unlike conventional stains, the SealMaxx color process does not chip, flake or peel! If desired a simple touch-up application every couple years will maintain vibrancy. This is where our process really shines! No power washing is needed, and in most situations only horizontal areas that receive direct sun light will need attention. So, instead of spending a weekend power washing and sanding, you simply clean the area with soap and water, and apply a light touch-up application where needed!
Like any out-door structure, a deck or fence treated by SealMaxx should be cleaned yearly. Snow, leaves, rain and dirt work to soil any out-door structure.
We recommend cleaning your deck with soap and water twice a season to maintain its beauty while avoiding dust and dirt buildup.
